About Us
Upward and Onward Community Services is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that offers basic human needs to individuals and families residing in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, and its surrounding areas. We offer Rental Assistance, Utility Assistance, Mortgage Assistance, food pantry, clothing, financial coaching, referrals to employment services, childcare, and counseling services.
Meet the CEO, Pauline Andrea Farley
Chief Executive Officer, Pauline Farley, has devoted her career to the issue of homelessness and being of service to others. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and of Jamaican descent, Pauline witnessed first-hand the exasperating issue of homelessness. After relocating to Dallas, Texas, Pauline attended and graduated from Paul Quinn College with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and later went on to Prairie View A&M University, where she earned a Master of Arts degree in counseling. Shortly thereafter, Pauline was appointed Director for a leading agency in homeless services creating sustainable, affordable supportive housing for individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Today, Pauline leads Upward and Onward Community Services in its mission to address homelessness and homeless prevention in Texas.
